Does this mean if you stay for one week in the beginning of june you can not return until Sept ?

This was taken from the fethiye Times today

The End of an Era - The Visa Run

The new rules bring Turkey into line with the Schengen Visa rules that are in operation in many countries around the world.

Under those rules the holders of a C-type visas, like the Turkish Tourist visa, are allowed to stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 days in a 180-day period.

Holders must then leave before the 90 days and cannot return for another 91 days. The visa cannot be renewed by exiting and entering the area in less than 91 days.

So after months of doubt, confusion and, in some cases hope, we reach the end of the visa run and the end of an era of free and easy movement in and out of Turkey.

Yes it brings Turkey into line with the Countries who have signed up to all aspects of the Schwengen agreement  but your interpretation of how it operates is completely wrong as it suggests that there must be a gap of 91 days between the last of your 90 days and rentering the country.

Within the 180 days that your visa lasts you are allowed to enter and leave as often as you like as long as the total number of days in Turkey does not exceed 90. If the last or any of your 90 days in Turkey is day 180 of your visa you leave that day and can re-nter and get a new visa the next day on what is numerically day 181
