My friend hurt her wrist and went to the Esnaf Hosp on Sunday. They told her it was not broken but strapped it up and gave her an injection. They told her to return Monday for the orthopaedic dept. She was charged approx 200 ytl on Sunday. On attending yesterday they x-rayed the wrist again and said that a small bone was displaced and if not re-aligned would restrict wrist movement. They said the procedure would take ten minutes, cost 3,000 ytl. If however they had to insert a pin, the cost would be 4,000 ytl. I think these costs reflect what people who do now subscribe to SGK will have to fork out in the future.
