Visa for entering Turkey.. Now you can get it online
« on: April 18, 2013, 21:08:38 PM »
Just reading on T.A. that you can now apply online for your Visa and pay with a credit card.  This saves waiting in queues at the airport.

Anyone tried it yet?
I can just imagine the confusion that will be caused when the 1st one is presented to the police officer on the passport desk! There could could be alot of throwing the head back and loud tutting while thrusting the passport back through the glass booth and pointing furiously round the corner to the visa desks!  :o

Thanks for the info Jacqui, that seems a great step forward. I'm going to email the links to a group of my mates who are coming over in a few weeks time. Whether they remain my mates ? We will wait and see !

Yes I agree everything about it sound like trouble for the first ones presenting your passport in Dalaman .
But saying that its got to be good in the long run.
I for one hope it works out ok.

Below is the quote from Nick who posted yesterday.  Not sure if he used it for entry or obtained it online yesterday.
