Primary Schools experience

Hi Everybody,

I`m looking for people/parents who have any experience with Turkish Primary Schools and Education in general. I am hoping to move to Fethiye beginning of next year.

I am fighting for my 9-year old son to move to Turkey with me.
But unfortunately our judge has got a very Victorian opinion of Turkish Education System and Turkish Schools as being behind western civilisation and as he expressed:"Turkish Education must be worth than English.".

Could you please write me with your stories and your personal experiences with the schools, teachers and how are your children getting on at the school.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards
Yvonne

Hi,

Please have a look here before you go any further http://www.fethiyetimes.com/main/Education.htm.

You also need to be aware that there may be problems if your children have a different surname to you and you are applying for residency. We have advice about this and we will be placing it on the Fethiye Times website soon.
