Sue Mac....
Too late for your request but maybe next time....

The Cin Bal in Kaya is second only to the Kargi Muze. The food is plentiful fresh some grown in their garden.  A BBQ is provided not only to keep your Cay hot but to cook the vegies and toast breads and borek... 20TL

We have used Cin Bal for Kahvalti visits for over three years the last two years it has become popular mainly  with Turkish!!

As always our opinion

Weird isn't it how people's tastes vary.
We didn't like Cinbal breakfast, too impersonal, crowded, waiters running, cold virtually raw potato..
much preferred Keyf i Mangal, massive choice of food and chilled, not rushed to leave, in fact we chilled in the kösk for a couple of hours.

Went another day and tried their barbecue, exactly the same set up with choosing mezes and meat, BBQ at table, just as nice but quite a bit cheaper.

its down a side lane parallel to Cin Bal, its well sign posted.

sorry Ovacik 2...I wasn't saying you're weird, I meant isn't it strange how people find the same places so different.

Funny old world if we all liked the same as they say.

And no, I'm not calling you strange or funny  :)

Haha!! There were smiles  :D  ;D no offence taken! We appreciate your posts actually !  :D

Thinking back to Sue Mac there are another couple of places we like to have Kahvalti in Kaya ! The Antik Restaurant is pretty authentic ! The Nurcan is an experience with home made produce, jams breads yogurt with the milk from the cow  across the road !  One for the enthusiast ! ;D
