Remembrance Sunday
« on: November 13, 2017, 06:52:24 AM »
Went to the Nil Bar for a scrummy Sunday lunch and a small Remembrance service. It was packed. We observed the 2min silence and watched the televised BBC service, at the Centotaph. It was a lovely afternoon and a few guys had their blazers and medals on.  Angel made a special corner, with poppies for sale and a delicious array of free cakes.

A great gesture by Angel
