As I said last year (and probably the year before that :)) it's hard to believe but it's this time of the year again.
We have managed to have some fun with this for the last four years now so I thought we could do the same again this year.
For new members the way it works is that I will allocate each of the 40 runners with a number randomly.
Members who want to participate simply pick the number(s) between 1 and 40 they want. I then publish the list of the runners and the CBF member whose number corresponds to them just before the race.
The price of a horse this year is £ 5.00 (unless you want to make it something different ) and the winner will receive a prize to the value of £ 20.00.
It's not too early to pick your number - so book early to avoid disappointment.
Please help the children if you can.
:)

Here is the list showing which horse you have been allocated.
(http://s23.postimg.org/p23cmvkjr/Runners_1.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/p23cmvkjr/) (http://s21.postimg.org/3nknn7smr/Runners_2.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/3nknn7smr/)
The favourites are: :)
Dizzy jan with Many Clouds at 8/1
Spo6666 with The Last Samuri at 10/1 and
Lotty with Silviniaco Conti
The outsiders (unfortunately) are: :(
Steveb1 who has Aachen 100/1
Jim fraser who drew Home Farm also at 100/1 and
Phil5252 who has Ballycasey who is quoted at 80/1
Given that the Masters from Augusta starts today faymoore’s Just a Par might be worth a punt.
Good luck everyone :)

I'm slightly surprised my horse didn't make your outsiders list
-
Number 34 was allocated to onenightinvennia and is quoted at 40/1.

I am delighted to let you know that you, the wonderful members of the CBF, have come up trumps yet again and have raised well over the amount planned.
I will have the greatest of pleasure in transferring £ 335 to the charity and with the £ 35.00 donated in Calis that makes a total of £ 370.00.
Thank you so much to all who took part.
Your donations will make a difference to kids who have so very little.
