The Death Penalty in the UK
« on: March 21, 2019, 21:00:21 PM »
This is the dreadful case of Alesha MacPhail's rape and murder.  :( :( :(

I have always thought that, on balance the death penalty should be an option in some cases.

This case has reinforced that thought and I think it should certainly have been an option for the judge.

Yes, I'm for the Death Penalty in cases where there is a confession and no mitigating circumstances.

He'll not last long in jail. He's a marked man.

We can only hope toky but the State should be able to take that decision as I feel sure you would agree.

KKOB might help us with the mechanisms of his incarnation from this point.

I think you meant incarceration John. Anyway with modern DNA and other forensic techniques I back the death penalty 100%. The execution of an innocent person is highly unlikely.

Based on recent Home Office figures it costs £38k pa to keep an adult in prison. So,this scumbag is going to cost the British Tax Payer about £1m during his 27 year sentence. On the other hand, a 9mm lead injection just behind his right ear would cost us about £1.25.

If you put more milk on, it's reincarnation.
