Fethiye Starting Point for Israeli Sea Challenge

"The Canadian ship that tried to reach the Gaza Strip last summer has left Turkey and is heading to Gaza in a renewed bid to try to breach an Israeli blockade over the enclave. The Tahrir left Fethiye on Turkey's south coast Wednesday afternoon along with the Saoirse, an Irish ship, according to a statement released by the Freedom Waves activist group. The two vessels are expected to arrive in Gaza sometime Friday. There are 27 people from at least four different countries aboard the two vessels, which are carrying $30,000 worth of medicine".
