Just a warning to everyone -
My daughter had a tattoo recently in Calis
The tattoo was on her hand - apparently this is being made popular by Cheryl Cole. My daughter was initially very pleased with it as it was made of of intricate patterns of butterflies etc. and it looked good.
When she got home, the ink from the tattoo started to "bleed" badly. She went to a local tattoo shop and they said that many tattoo artists in UK would not attempt a tattoo on this part of the hand, particularly one with such an intricate design. The reason is that the skin is very thin and the tattoo is much more likely to bleed. Also, the needles may have been too large.
The whole tattoo now looks like a very bad ink smudge and she will have to have lots of lazer treatments to have the marks taken off.
