Hi I'm Rob, my wife is Julie we have been visiting Olu Deniz on and off since 1989 and only last year 2003 decided to make the quantum leap into purchasing a property it is situated in Ovacik and we will be visiting in May to furnish amongst other things so would be grateful for help.
What we are looking for are Web site addresses that translate to English or places where you get the best deals :)if there is anyone out there this information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

The Turkish retail market is way behind ours as far as online stuff is concerned (miles ahead with service and delivery though).

Here's a couple I've found:

Furniture

http://www.kelebek.com.tr/en/default2.asp Branch in Fethiye site is in English

English supermarket equiv and theres a link to the Turkish equiv of B&Q somewhere in there too.

http://www.migros.com.tr Only a small part in English.

There's a store on the main dolmus route out of Fethiye, on the left-hand side, just past the turning for Migros.

That's the place. Not bought anything there myself though but it does give you something to look at if you can't wait to get shopping out there.  :)
