Hi we bought property in Kalkan last year
 our names are Gareth Carys
 Gareth works for the prison service in preston
 iwork for the Health service has anybody tried to transport
 goods from the uk and and got their goods cleared through
 customs  they have had our boxes for 2 months and wont release them because they were not bought in turkey  although we have paid the taxes has anybody experienced the same please contact
  we dont know where to turn for HELP

whereabouts in  preston are u from, we moved to lincoln  from tarleton 3 years ago, my sons still live in the longton area.
we have bought a small apartment in calis and I'm going out to furnish it 6th May.  Can't wait to see what I've bought !!

Babs, I have asked quite a few times here if anyone is travelling on May 6th, up to now there hasn't been anyone, plenty on May 7th, we are flying from Manchester on the 6th with First choice airways depart 17.30, are you on this flight?? if so our transfers into Calis are already booked, you are very welcome to share with us if this suits you, Ken.

Yes I am also on that flight but I have booked a week b & B at the Beach Vill or Villa beach hotel as our apartment isn't furnished yet, hence the reason for my visit.
I am travelling alone this time, hubby is looking after the menagerie
. We are going for a proper holiday on 10th June.  I have shoulder length blondish hair and will be looking anxious and lonely.  It would be great if we could meet up at the airport.
The transfer is already part of the trip but thanks for the offer.
Can't wait and I'm looking forward to the party on the 12th

I am app 6ft tall and full of effes and fosters lager, wife is 8 inches shorter but otherwise the the description fits, lol, Ken

We are planning to bring in a container over the next few weeks and if all goes well I will post the results. Just returned to the UK last night and will be contacting a freight company today to arrange shipping.

Still trying to get some one interested in moving the container and helping it through to Fethiye - seem to be running into brick walls - will keep on trying.
