Hi everyone,

We are new members to this forum although we have been regular visitors to Turkey for several years now.

Our first visit to Calis was about seven years ago and our latest was three weeks ago, when I am happy to say that we became one of the priveleged band to buy a property, just for holidays at the moment but with a view to moving out permanently in the future.

We have bought in one of the older estates, Deniz Kent, and although we are having a full re-furb done, we hope to be back out in September to furnish it and sort the garden etc....... so no doubt will probably meet with some of you then.

Hello Peter and Kay

We are also on your site - we own the yellow house on Zumrutkent (part of Denizkent) Sinbad is also on Zumrutkent and he is in Turkey at the moment - will be on the site this weekend I am sure.

I think this site and this part of town is beautiful and peaceful and I love the gardens. We go back on Friday night for a week and we will be around in september - may meet up then.

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome.

We have long been fans of the Fethyie area and it never crossed our minds to look elsewhere for a place to live in Turkey. I agree with you Teresa and Carol, Deniz Kent is a peaceful haven and yet close enough to everything that you need.

We know that we will enjoy it. Just a shame that we cannot be there now. Still not long until September.

Hi Pete, We shall be there in September as well but we are also going out in July which is even sooner
