First of all can I just say BLOODY WELL DONE KEITH, THIS LOOKS FAB !

My name is George and married to my child bride, Chris. I think we have a son called Jon who is 16, but to be honest we very really see him ( except when he runs out of cash !! )

We hail from Liverpool and now live at Haydock between Liverpool & Ma, Ma, Man, Manchss, sorry, just cant bring myself to say that word. I'm a Liverpool fan you see, and Chris supports Everton ! It's only hating that lot from Old Stratford that keeps us together.

I sell the one thing that none of us can do without, TOILETS, honest, I work for Twyford bathrooms, Chris is an administrator for Liverpool City Council.

We bought our house in Calis last November after visiting Turkey for the fist time last August, we met Scunner out there last May when we put the furniture in.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Hi Rimms

You make it sound like I delivered the furniture.

Not a bad turnout at all for one day old - great to see everyone.

Hi. I'm Pat sister to Nelideen. married to hubby John for 21 years.
Two daughters 15 & 18. Bought a house with Helen, not planned at all to buy. Scunners fault sending us to Calis. Really didn't want to go to Turkey 2002 i thought it dirty, smelly and just horrible, i wanted to go to Greece. Ended up in Marmaris, loved the people not so much the place preferred ( sorry scunner has to be said ) Icmeler.
As Helen said were going sept.03. Again didn't want to go to Calis only went with Helen for protection as she was buying didn't know who was meeting her from airport so hubby and i escorted her and hubby for one week and came home with a house as one does!!.
My only regret is i wont be staying at the Ernur. What a place, i'm more excited about going back there than the house, maybe that will change when we find the house and it's furnished.
So where on count down for our holiday 19th of this month
Can't wait to meet up with whoever's out there.

By the way i'm Helens younger sister.

Pat

merhaba,
we are  Derrick and Evelyn, from Bradford.
We have been going to Calis for about four years, usually staying at one of the beach front hotels, the Mendos and Seketur etc. Also stayed at the Aries.
We have been married for 32 years and have one daughter and one grand-daughter. She was an instant hit in Calis last year!(blond hair and blue eyes and all of 4 years old)
We should be landing there in about 46 hours and are staying at the Vegat Apartments

Merhaba Derrick and welcome, we are all envious of your impending visit to Calis, but be warned we will have our revenge, won't we Marly, Scunner, Patty & Helen. When you get back to Bradford, we will be setting off for Calis.

Any chance you can join us next May for our www.calis-beach.co.uk party ?

Hi,

I'm Mags and husband is Carl. At present we live in a small village in Lancashire. We are going Turkey on the 14th of September to look  for property in the quieter areas of the Bodrum Peninsular. Calis is one of the areas we considered  buying and still might if we can't find a suitable property in Bodrum. We holidayed in Calis last year and loved it. The only problem was the  exceptonal amount of mosquitoes which make a beeline for me.
Carl is already retired and I am to taking early retirement in a couple of months after many years as a ward sister in mental health. We intend to move to Turkey for a few years and see how it goes.

Our 3chidren are 35,33 and 31. We have 3 grandchildren

Hi. My name is Gordon (48)and my wife is Angie (40). We live in Cheshire in the north of England (not too far from Rimms). I work as General Manager for a construction company which provides steel erectors to some of the main contractors. Angie works for B&Q. I have 3 kids (21, 19 & 15) from my first marriage.

We first went to Turkey (Gumbet) in 1999 and loved it. We have visited every year since. We have been to Fethiye area 3 times and really love the area.

We are looking to purchase our own property in Calis area in 2004 and are looking for any advice from those of you who have already take the plunge. Keith (Scunner), Helen (nelliedean) Stoop and Rimms have already offered some good advice. Thanks.

From reading some earlier 'posts' it sounds as though the Calis Owners 'Social Scene' is gathering pace and we hope soon to become part of it. Cant imagine much better than having a few beers (or vodkas in Angie's case):P and sharing stories and jokes :Dwith friends sat at a seafront bar.

Regards

haino

Hi I'm Maggie, I live in Coventry. I am self employed and work as a Cost Draftsman. I'm married to John, who is a Solicitor and we have two teenagers that are 15 and 16.

We went to Calis in July, it was all a bit last minute as we were supposed to be in Kalkan, but we all absolutely fell in love with the place and plan to go back as often as we can!

We have seriously thought about buying a villa or an apartment in Calis and as soon as finances will allow it, I think we will, just not sure when that will be!

Good luck with the site, I love it already!
