My name is Maureen, I am married to Robin and we have a son, Christopher who's nearly 4. We first visited Turkey in 1988, yes over 15 years ago, and fell in love with the country, the people and the way of life. We have been back many times since, and last July bought an apartment in Ovacik. Had originally thought of Calis beach (which is where we stayed last July while looking), but couldn't find anything suitable in our budget.
We come from Kent, and currently live in Trowbridge, in West Wiltshire, but would love to spend more time in Turkey - or move permanently, who wouldn't! Our next trip in May can't come a moment too soon ...

This site is great, full of brilliant info and friendly people. I've been lurking around since a few weeks after it started, and as I'm now addicted, I thought I should join !!

Hi Maureen, Robin and Christopher, welcome to the site, what took you so long to log on? You're right it does become very addictive. We stayed in Ovacik last August but were introduced to Calis and fell in love with the place, we bought a villa on Telmessos and have booked to go out there in May.
