Does anyone know if we would have to take euros if going on a day trip to Rhodes or do they accept English money? Thanks, Linda

English money is barely acceptable Linda, but please convert your money into Euro's - you will get a far better deal paying in Euros than trying to pay in £'s. Change your money in Fethiye.

There are also plenty of ATM's in Rhodes, so let your UK bank sort out your (better) exchange rate.

There is an ATM as soon as you go in through the Castle Gates by the Lights next to a jewellry shop on the right hand side to get euros out of your account. Last time that was empty but there is another machine further up the alley way as you walk up toward the main area within the castle on your left.

The ATM in the glass booth(HSBC) on the Marina near the hydrofoil will also dispense Euros on demand. :)
