I know it's going over an old subject well executed by Scunner some time ago, but please, please, please;
Ask some one, talk to ex-pats, talk to everyone and anyone.
I have freinds who caught the bug. They asked me many questions and I gave them many answers along with much good advice.
What did they do? Ignored the lot. Prologue - they are going home 80 grand down.
