Title: Question About Tax Numbers/Bank Accounts

When I come over next time (February, fingers crossed) I'm hoping to get my tax number and open a bank account.

Couple of questions that I haven't found the answers to...

1. It's likely that I'll be visiting alone. If I bring Mr WB's passport, would I be able to get his tax number for him or will he have to do it himself when he comes?
2. Am I ok giving a UK address when I open the bank account? We're very unlikely to have a Turkish address at that stage.

If anyone can help I'd be very grateful.   :)

I'm not certain about the tax numbers but you can give a UK address for your bank account 8)

Yes, you can get a tax no for someone who's not present. Did it for 2 friends last week
