Hello everyone, my name is Melvyn Cosgrove and this is my first year in Calis Beach, FETHiYE as a property owner. I have signed up to this forum to meet other property owners from the UK. I am from Northern Ireland but don't hold that against me.

Welcome to the forum, you will get plenty of information on here, and hopefully meet others living in Fethiye on here, that have taken the chance to move out to Turkey

Hi Melvyn, welcome. Why would anyone hold it against you for coming from NorthernIreland, such a beautiful part of the world. And you have bought in another, where is your property?

Welcome Melvin,  We have a property in Calis, my husband Phil, is from Bangor N.I.  My Father was from Belfast and so, I have spent a lot of time in N.I.

Though I'm Welsh, my family are from Tipperary, but I worked for a Newry based company for 5 yrs if that counts? Oh yeah, we have a place in Calis too

I have spent countless hours over the last few weeks on phone to Vodafone customer service which is based in NI so I have a loose connection to NI   ;)
