Title: Residency Office inFethiye.

Is there any update on when the new office will be open in Fethiey.  Waiting to renew my residency and so much easier if it is open shortly.

Seems that way.  Where is the Inspector, he usually has all the answers.

I talked to them today again and now they say 15'th of February. I feel that they will extend it to end of February. :-)))

Governor located an expert officer here in fethiye 3 months ago. But didnt start to serve yet. Renovation of office  finished. Total 4 officer will be working there. Most of you know 3 of them, they  were working at Foreign Police Office Ferhiye.
They just need the start command from Governor.

The office is open but remember you still have to apply on line for Renewals , Fırst tıme STR and LTR etc. The offıce ıs to save you havıng to go to Mugla for ıntervıews. Correct me ıf I am wrong Inspector.
The offıce is ın the road immediately behınd the PTT. There ıs a bıg RED GOC sign (near BIM). Go under the sıgn and go up the stairs on the left to the 1st floor. But yavaş yavaş they are still setting up.

Nobody knows when it will start service exactly.
But smilar office opened in ALANYA (province of ANTALYA) and not serving for long term. Long term applicants need to go to ANTALYA city main office.
I think they will do the same here in Fethiye. :-(

You are wright.
You cant apply for renewal Even if you ere living next door to the residence office Fethiye.
You have to make online aplication and collect documents, prepare application file and put them in an envolope.
We don't know if they will let you drop aplication file by hand or want it to be posted to their office.
You will be able to track the stages of your aplication online via internet.
Lets wait and see,
