Hi,

Only visited Calis once for a day or so , but have been to turkey well over 20 times now we often travel to 2 or 3 places when we visit Dalyan Kayakoy Kabak  and maybe the odd night in Marmaris just for the contrast but more often than not always end up in Olu Deniz for the end of our stay. Wherever we visit in the world we always compare it to the bays and breathtaking countryside around Fethiye and it always falls short

Now In my early 50s the idea of early retirement and spending a few years in the part of the world I love visiting is now a goal, we had a look around Uzumlu in may and it is a beautiful village but a little remote for us so we have our sights set for around Fethiye.

Ive found this forum very useful. and gives a good insight into local life in the area.
