Do any of the 3 c's folk know when Rod and his wife are going to be over ( thats assuming they are!) I am soo hoping we are over when they are soo we can attend 'the gig'

He arrives sometime in May, tho I don't have the exact date. As to when the gigs will be, Lee & Stuart usually give us little more than a week's notice, as Lee has to make sure it fits in with whatever is happening in neigbouring bars / restaurants. Then we have to get the paperwork from the District Govenor, which has then to be signed off by the police. This is partly because Stuart is not allowed to "work", so there has to be an element of proof that he is doing a freebie on behalf of a charity & also because of the large number of people who are generally virtually blocking the prom

It's looking like you will Karen. Looking back, his first gig last year was end May, the year before begining June. From memory, Stuart & Linda tend to arrive in Calis mid May

just left rod and linda in benidorm. they will be arriving in calis on the 15th. may for 6 weeks.

Damn damn just had a quick count up,and think wel miss 'Rod' by about 4 days :( thank you for posting Jack i do hope they are both well..im curious what was the weather like in Benidorm at this time of year please? Thank u :)

actually not too bad. some sunny days and some cloudy but all in all not too bad. beware of weekends at this time of year. benidorm full of stag and hen parties. not a pretty sight. never seen so many drunk people in one place. through the week not too bad. beware of mobility scooters. lol

Thank you Jack we are definetely having a trip to Benidorm at some point ( a winter trip) so its always good to hear what the weather is like from the horse's mouth :) i saw on the Benidorm prog that's been on telly lately about the amount of mobility scooters out there ;)

I believe that there could be one on Tuesday but that the 3Cs need to get the paperwork signed by the Belediye first and of course they are closed tomorrow for Sports Bayramlar. No doubt Liz101 will let everyone know once it is confirmed.

If you were sat having a drink and did not know about 'Rod' and the great things he does for the children's charity, if he strolled past you would think from this piccy, oooh Rod Stewart has just walked past me :)
