During the summer seasons the Monday Market took up the grounds on both sides of the road.

During the winter it just occupies one side.

Market was still on the one side yesterday although we did not visit so not sure how many stall were on there, the new shopping precinct is to have an underground nightclub for 2000 people so not sure how quiet and relaxing it will be to eat there once it is up and running. Not our cup of tea think we will be going further afield this year for some of our meals. :)

Hi markaren.......I've been told that the underground nightclub is owned by no other than the Mayor of Olu Deniz Keramettin Yilmaz and that he'll be keeping a close watch on how it's run.

It might hold 2000 people, but the 35 they will get in there at any one time might look somewhat odd

In the same area they were building a giant swing boat - I just hope it wont develop into a huge Blackpool style funfare.
Does anyone know anything about the plans for the swing boat and any proposed additional "attractions"?

There was a small funfair type thing going up with a very small pirate ship and some other rides did not pay much attention as not really our cup of tea, they looked rather cheap and tacky to say the least. Not sure how popular it will be hopefully not at all and they will pull it down again for next season. Think they have lost the plot slightly at the moment with all the changes.

The new shopping centre is all owned by Nicholas as KKOB says.We heard on the grapevine so to speak that if the shops do not go well then they will all be turned into apartments in the future!!! Hopefully the nightclub will only have a few and they will decide to close it but I think during the high season it will be full unfortunatley.:(

I'm sure the shops will be turned into apartments, what other reason for the extortionate rents. ;)and not much design change needed.
