Sorry if I'm looking in the wrong place or missing something - is there a list of the winning bids anywhere? I was going to submit some commission bids but didn't get round to it, but I'd like to know what the things went for.

If someone could point me in the right direction? thanks

Hi baklavalover it was won by a lady in  Fethiye in the end.

As regards giving out a list of the winning bids, the Carnival Committee feel that in keeping with the intended spirit of the auction, the sale price that individual items  went for was not important.  What was very important was the total raised for charity and the generosity of the bidders who donated things, whatever the eventual price they went for.

We have decided that when we hold the next "Promises" Auction during Carnival week at the beginning of June, if anybody wishes to make a commission bid via the internet we will issue you with a guideline price on request if this makes it easier for you to place a bid.

Thank you all again for your generosity and support  :) :) :)
