Automatic Car
« on: April 30, 2008, 18:23:54 PM »
We have finally sold the house and will be arriving to our new life in Turkey on 11 June!
Can anyone offer advice on where to rent an automatic car from and an idea of cost.
We would like to purchase an automatic car as soon as is practical.Does anyone know of any for sale or suggest the best way to source one.

Hi Joe,

Not sure on renting automatic cars (I have no need to rent) but buying automatic cars is fairly easy - not all makes and models that are available in automatic flavour are available here but you should get something close to what you are looking for. What sort of car had you in mind? Are you looking to buy new?

Hi Joe, most of the rental places either have, or can source an Automatic for you  :)  There's a fairly recent thread on here about car hire, by Phil Green I think  :)

Hi Scunner,
We are looking for a small MPV type car similar to the Fiat Doblo in style.
We would prefer used if you know of any for sale.

I'll keep my ears open for you Joe, funnily enough I can't recall seeing a Doblo Auto but I'm sure there must be. I've got a Nissan X-Trail auto, not because I wanted an automatic but at the time you could only get the Auto in Turkey. Can be strange sometimes, buying cars here  :)

Hi Scunner,
The Doblo is just an example of the type of car we are interested in.We would definitely consider looking at any other cars that are available.
I have looked at some of the links for Fethiye car hire but none seem to offer an automatic model
