would it be a good time to change ytl back into gbp if the lira is set to rise ???

No, not really. The time to change lira into Sterling was when it hit 2.1 (ish) to the pound. Of course if the rate continues to slide to 3/£ and higher, now is a relatively good time. Personally I don't see that happening. As a short term volatile currency, the lira has managed to maintain itself as a long term predictable one, a 2.2-2.8 banker. Change lower than 2.35 or take your chances.

It depends what price you bought at and what profit you are happy making. When you work that out then go for it.

Todays rate in Fethiye was buy back at approx 2.75 and exch GBP @257.5.
