Hello crystalgirl, yes there was a place on the gunlubasi to Fethiye main road. However this had nothing to do with the british embassy. It was the turkish/english cultural society, centre, funded by a few local people. It was operated by one of the twins who have a souvenirs  place on the calis prom.It did indeed help english people who had problems from whatever source. If you are able to visit the (the twins stall) on the prom next to the taxi point you will find an answer to your prob.If you do not reside in calis but would like some assistance use my profile and I will talk to them and or get you a contact number.good luck J

I think you may mean The British Turkish society or some name like that.I think they folded about a couple of years ago. Could be wrong but have not heard of them recently. :)

I think you mean the British Consulate office which is a totally different organisation than the British Turkish Society. As AOK says the Consulate which used to be located over an estate agents towards the end of the main street near the 4 palm trees at the end of Paspatur has now moved and is in the new building (same road)opposite Carrefore. The Fethiye honorary British Consulate is Mustafa Sikman
