Winter at Cubana Bar
« on: November 08, 2009, 05:20:58 AM »
Firstly, a big thanks to Keith for giving his permission for this post.

Just to let those who are interested know what is happening at Cubana bar this winter.

We will be open everyday from 12 noon all winter.
Free turkish conversation lessons every Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. from 18th November. Bring a pen and notebook. Feel free to ask the teacher (Thomas aka Omer) those questions you are too shy to ask at more formal lessons.
Every Friday is quiz night starting at 9 p.m. No seriousness is allowed, please feel free to cheat as much as you like...it's just for fun!!
Customer loyalty cards are available this year for regular visitors. Buy 10 of any of the following, Efes beer, wine or local spirits, and get 1 free.
Sporting events on 2 big screens inside. Nintendo Wii, games, darts, pool and free wifi. We will hopefully be planning some Wii competition nights.
We are also planning on hosting a children's christmas party on Saturday 19th December. More details to follow later.
If you have anything in particular you would like to watch on big screen, please contact me via my profile with details and we will endeavor to find what you require. We are currently showing X Factor every Saturday and Sunday night.

Sorry it's such a long post!!

Is there anything going on, on Saturday nights? We are just back from the U.K and missing our Hisaronu fix.

My daughters thoroughly enjoy the Wii bowling, not to mention the company, at Cubana.
