Alan, we really hope you find someone who is able to take Benson for you, it takes a dog a while to settle in to somewhere new.  Especially if his own home has been a 5 star affair!
We wish you every success with finding a home and also wish you all the very best for your wifes treatment.  Positive mental attitude, I nursed my Mum through 9 months of chemo and radiotherapy 10 years ago.  Her consultant said that a positive mind will be as good as any medicine.
Take care Carol & Marc

No, I'm still looking for someone to take him on. He's the only 1 of 4 dogs that hasn't been offered a definite home from 1st March.

Would it cost a lot to bring him home with you? Or is that not an option?

That is such a shame. I have only met on GSHP and he was such a character.
He was my brothers friends dog and if they met in the pub my brother would hand over the lead of his Jack Russell to Paddy (gshp) and he would take the Jack Russell for a run round the pub to the amusement of the regulars.

If I didn't have the bar, I would take Benson back. He really is a beautiful lad. We still miss him. Please, somebody give him a home. You won't regret it. Although I think he might take some settling because Alan is definately his mate/Dad!!
