That sounds good - hope it is successful and they have these nights in June when we are over.   We do miss a good curry.

Looks good, but a tad expensive!

I agree it looks pricy. I hope that we don't find people filling places at these prices and setting the bar high everywhere else.
We could go to Shine twice for this price and have a bigger choice.
Will be interesting to see if its a successful night, look forward to the reviews. I love a curry and would only be tempted if absolutely top notch.

£17 for three courses is expensive?

There were times in our 5 years there where I'd have paid anything for a real Indian  :)

All relative I suppose. Bambu were doing a similar deal last year for 22TL and Bostans an all you can eat curry night ( buffet style) for just 16TL and a real curry meal from the Shine works out a lot cheaper per head.
Personaly I wish them well, It's good to see some diversity.....

I agree (to a degree!) but although I had some most satisfactory evenings in Shine in Hisaronu, it's all a but Sharwoods and this is "Acclaimed chef Zai from Kashmir".

Assuming he isn't acclaimed for his Shepherd's Pie, it could be a bargain :D

Does the Shine have the ambiance and views of Shaka?  I think not.
I'm with Keith on this one, £17 is nothing for a decent meal be it curry or not

Will be very interested in the reviews, only been to Shaka once, Johns 'signature' Shaka burger was cold, and our friends spaghetti bolognese was like a child's portion and tasteless.
My seafood pasta though was lovely, but in light of the other problems I wouldn't gamble 100 for the 2 of us.
Have eaten at Shine many many times over the past10 years or more, never had a bad meal there, and no, not the same ambience and view but I do think places that trade on their location don't have to try as hard.
I also think one Chicken, one Lamb and one veggie option is very limited and not sure I like the sound of sweet carrot desert.
All personal opinion of course.

Its nice to see a bigger choice of foods coming to Fethiye tough. Yakamoz have recently introduced an Indian menu which sounds really good, haven't had the chance to try it yet though.
