Places to eat near Saros Apt

Hallo

We will be staying at the Saros Apartmenst

I think it is at the far end of Calis.

Are there any nice informal cafes or bars within a short stroll from the apartments? By short stroll I mean 2mins max for a snack and drink on or facing the beach during the day.

Taking this forward are there any good places to eat in the evening a short 10 min walk away?

What I would also like to know is how long will it take us to leisurely stroll all the way along the prom to the other end of Calis.

How long will it take us to walk to where we pick up a Water taxi to Fethiye.

Finally what is there if we turn right and walk along the prom away from Calis

It would seem you are right on the front of the prom near the Malhun Hotel, so come out of your apartments with the sea at the front and turn left you will be near all the restaurants along the prom. We all have our favourites and you can download a list made up by Highlander on this Forum. 
When you get to the Kassaba Restaurant, turn left again you will walk up to the bridge and the water taxi is on the right just across the bridge. It wlll take you about 5-10 minutes depending on how quickly you walk.
Passing the bridge is the Main Street, again with lots of Restaurants. 
No need to worry you are a very near everything in Calis.

do give obens a try they are just outside your appts...down the side of obens along a track about 100 yds you will find guvens...lots of posts on here about them..great way to spend the day....use their beds and brollys and have a lovley lunch...we love this end of calis..enjoy

oh how did you manage to get booked at saros...we tried to contact thembut never had any luck..

Hi Dave We have stayed often at Saros and it takes some beating.To answer your questions.For daytime turn left for the Letoon 45 seconds away. Straight in front the Caretta free sun beds if you buy a drink or something to eat, 15 seconds.Guvens turn right and down path at the side of the OBEN about 4 mins again free beds for a bit of custom we use it a lot.Turn right across from Oben there are two bars that sell food,45 seconds.Evening you have the closest ones being Obens great family run restaurant and Letoon.Prom walk an easy 25 mins.Water taxi take the back road an easy 20 mins. The boats are on the half hour and hour.If you turn right you can walk past Guvens as far as the surf club.If you go out the side door of Saros and turn left down to the main road there is a well stocked shop about 150 yds.Hope this helps.
