The Pines - Curry Night

We went on Wednesday evening for the "special" - 3 course Indian Curry.
Have to say we were very pleased.
Mixed starter - main with rice - dessert - very nice flavours and only 15 lira :-)
Gill had masallah and I had the balti  - both had a nice "kick" :-)

We will certainly be going back - this is a Wednesday evening offer.

We have eaten at the Pines many times and have never had a bad meal there.  Their curry is the best we have had in Calis, but have yet to try their special curry night.

I often praise their competition in the area so I thought it was only fair to give them credit for a very pleasant meal - will now try their Sunday Lunch next :-)

Their sunday lunch is also very good.  Though it had changed when we came over in May - prior to that, you had a 3 course meal, with lots of lovely fresh veg, plus a drink of your choice (wine, beer etc) for about 15-18 lira, depending which meat you chose.

In May, there was no drink included, and they had also ditched the starter, but it was still excellent value for the money, and very tasty!  Our choice every time if we're going to have sunday lunch.

We have had many a pleasant meal at Pines. Sad to say the curry was not one of them. We had three different curry meals all over coloured, microwaved and  tasting nothing like they were supposed to....
