Thanks for explaining mercury.Is it a problem to get them a licence?.Seems another step to spoil it for holiday makers.

I may be completely wrong, but the things that are on the cards in Turkey seem to be aimed at alienating holiday makers, even though economically the Turkish people need  them.  The latest rules on alcohol, and now the clampdown on non-Turkish businesses and entertainers, seem to be another nail in the coffin designed to keep the Western world at bay.  Yet the lovely Turkish people who I have met, will suffer the most.

I cannot see why the law should be any different for one section of workers.
