Does anyone know whether we can still use our badges for a discount at Shaka under its new management?

I suspect things aren't going to be exactly the same.  We had an arrangement with Shaka that if we or our guests pre-booked then they could be collected and/or taken home as long as there were 4 or more of them.  Our last guests went there but when they asked for their lift home Shaka called them a taxi.  Not quite the arrangement we'd had before.  It's very generous of restaurants to give lifts so I'm not complaining.  It's just disappointing because it had meant it was easy for us to go for an evening meal there without worrying about having a glass or two of wine.  Now I suspect we won't go as much.    :(

Ah, who knows

they will also work with CBF with 10 % discount as we have agreed when you show your badge.

Will be interesting to know if they will honour the badge discount, maybe someone could try? We're adding more restaurants to the discount scheme, and don't forget there are others who offer transport home such as Kings Garden and Sarnic in Kayakoy.

Hello All,

As of Monday evening I have sold Shaka to a friend of mine who also owns the Hilmi Fish Restaurant in the fish Market.

They will also do free service within Fethiye area for 4 ppl and more, they will also work with CBF with 10 % discount as we have agreed when you show your badge. Phone numbers are still the same 02526148842 for reservations.

Osman Gurkan.

Does this not answer the question?

It does, till you read that Suzz's guests weren't given a lift home, they ordered them a taxi.

Oops!  Serves me right for not going back through the  pages.  Cheers Scunner.  We'll be going next week to see what it's like I'm sure.  We'll see if they give us a lift home then.  It may be that they're only doing Fethiye now.  Fair enough I guess but disappointing for us.  Still, it was great while it lasted.
