What is open and what is going on after the Tourist Season?
« on: October 03, 2013, 10:04:14 AM »
I thought it might be a good idea for people and perhaps businesses (with Scunner's permission)
to list what is open after the end of October,  in the off season.
I know Vojo's, The Nil and also the Mozaik Bahce will be open, but what other businesses don't close?
As soon as my other half gets early retirement we hope to spend longer in Calis, so would like to know myself.   ;)

Hi Jacqui,

That's a brilliant idea, we arrive on the 30th October for a 6 month stay and it would be very useful to know what's open in the Fethiye area.

Gunislik opens in the day time....not open for evening meals.. Eyna Bar is closed on Tuesdays but open the rest of the time.. It is quite busy on shop days and there is the quiz on Friday afternoons which is very well attended.

We are open all year round, although we close every Monday (rehab time). We have regular weekly events going on. On Tuesday afternoons, we have a wii bowling league. It used to be Kismet Bar versus PJ's but still waiting to find out which Calis venue it will be this year. One week here, the next week in Calis. On Wednesday's, we have our Kismet Wacky Walkers group, which proved very popular last winter. There's some stunning scenery to be seen around here, as our members will tell you! Friday night we have cabaret and open-mic night and then finally, on Sunday we have our fun "bingo" quiz! Quiet winter for us!! LOL

Last winter there were only a couple of restaurants open in Kayakoy. The Cin Bal and Yalcin. Caspers bar was also open for meals and they have an excellent take away service which we used a great deal.

I'm pretty certain that Okyanus (the fish restaurant) on the sea front stays open all year round.

Nil Bar is usually open at New Years eve.. You definitely have to book... Not sure about Vojo's.
