The corner of the Kerim Hotel from the comfort of the big chairs.
The Sultan Patisserie near the Law Courts. Especially in the morning watching people pick up their food on the way to their work.
Departure lounges of any airport.

I love the corner table in Seckin.  Much prefer to watch the Turkish people go about their daily business than tourist watch on the prom.

Kerim in their big comfy chairs for us too.  Except don't drink the coffee, the last ones we had there in May were disgusting  :o

Never been to the La Teras but did used to like sitting at the front of the balcony of La Terace.     ;)

I do apologise for using the Turkish spelling of the word, for a restaurant in Turkey    ;)

I've been wondering since this post how it came to be La Terace or was it simply a mistake.

No idea, but my favourite place in Calis, still,  Can remember the night we sat with the owner who was a lovely man and he told us the last light at the end of the prom was his house.   We loved this place, great food, chilled out atmosphere, the best. Happy memory of speaking to his brother, when I asked him what they did in the Winter, he said, "Make babies"  Also remember the night they had a fire dancer up on the Terrace, he was great.
Such a shame the owner was killed in such a terrible way... I cannot see any place to replace La Terace (which ever way it was spelled)
