Shanghai Blues
« on: October 18, 2013, 18:19:05 PM »
Tonight we ordered a takeaway from Calis Shanghai Blues, sat on our balcony and enjoyed a veritable feast.  Other half washed his down with Worthington E (thanks to Jackstee's heads up) - me, I had vodka and really sparkling tonic - bliss  ;D ;D  Quick service and excellent.

The spare ribs from there are delicious.  Sounds lovely to have a take-away on your balcony - and sparkling tonic as well !!

Sue, yes the spare ribs are yummy, we always enjoy Shanghai Blues.  In the winter we go up to Hisaranu and sit in front of their roaring log fire with a few drinks before and after eating.

The last time (last year)  we went up to their Hisaronu Restaurant, must have caught them on a bad night as the ribs where just fatty lumps.  We complained and they did offer an alternative, but we declined, so they did not charge us for the starter,  even the main courses where not good..  It did put us off and we have not been back, but always enjoyed a meal there in the past.
The one in Calis, even with a map cannot find us at all, so gave up on delivery from them, after last year and them wandering around for one hour and ringing us, eventually, we range the Pizza Place, strange,  because the Pizza place always find us.
