VoJo's Saturday night

Embrace are hosting a social night this coming Saturday 30th at VoJo's  in order to raise more funds for the charity. We have a professional singer who is completely new to Calis and has kindly agreed to sing for us free of charge. Also the debut of a very young Turkish girl who will be singing in English so please come and give them both your support. The charge for tickets is only 10 lira and includes nibbles but VoJo's will be offering their usual menu should anyone wish to eat. Tickets are available from the shop in Gunlukbasi or direct from VoJo's  This is our first venture into evening entertainment so keeping our fingers crossed that lots of you fancy a night out ........

there is more than 60 people now attending this night at Vojo's. Donna was here yesterday for a sound check and I can easly say she has the most amazing voice .

We would like to thank VoJo's for a really successful night which raised a fantastic  amount for our charity. As we had some extra very generous donations at the end of the evening the  revised amount raised after expenses was an amazing 1860 lira . I was so very worried about the evening as the very young lady due to sing had been taken ill......but has promised she will sing at another fund raising night...and Donna had been ill for a week with a head and chest cold so she was unsure if she could manage to sing or not .She was wonderful and we are lucky to have her on our team . Well done Donna and you can belt your heart out at the next social we organise....... Thanks to everyone who contributed in any way and to all those who attended and made it a fun evening for us all.
