Pastries & Pies
« on: April 03, 2014, 13:18:42 PM »
A friend bought some plum chutney at the calis car boot sale and the jar is marked Pastries & Pies. Does anybody have any info, is it a business or just something sold at the car boot sale. Any info will be most welcome.

Pastries and Pies is a restaurant/cafe in Calis just off the main street next to Scarlett Bar, Lisa makes jams, chutneys, fabulous pies and cakes, its eat in or take out and we can highly recommend it all especially her jam doughnuts.  Oh crikey I,m hungry just thinking about it.

Lovely food in here, and they do sandwiches etc. to take to the airport, they are also great supporters of local charities, and have regular events throughout the summer.  Last year there wasn't a table to be had for a charity coffee morning.
