I'll be along to pick up an envelope when you're ready. Perhaps you can keep us posted here too, thanks   :)

Agree 100% with Scunner and Mark.  It is up to Vojo and no-one else whether they wish to donate to the charity or not.
If the charities go over the top on this kind of thing they could do more damage in respect of donations offers than good.

Correct Snowtop - and in fairness it isn't the charities asking.

I have tried to explain, at length, that CBF is a community website for promoting the area, not a charity website. We are proud of what has been achieved for the local charities on here but a charity we are not. If local businesses have something new or different on to tell 10,000 people about there is no fee  :)

Totally agree with Mark and Keith as Vojo's help our charity in every way they can every single week so this is something entirely different and a bit of fun for those wishing to take part.

Yes, every week - where dozens of other bars and restaurants do nothing, ever.

I will be there for three weeks during World Cup and would have liked an interest
Are you not restricting it to mainly residents by insisting on being there for the entire tournament
Will pop in for a few matches anyway
See u soon

Yes I will post here when you can come pick up an envelope when they are ready. As some of you guys mentioned we do help every charity who comes to us and we are continusly helping Embrace charity in everyway we can since the day we have opened. However this event is only for abit of fun and as mentioned all the money raised on this going straightly back to the players. However its up to them to whether give some of their winnings to charity or not.
