Kebab time restaurant.
« on: May 10, 2014, 19:50:49 PM »
A new restaurant that is well worth a visit. The kebab time restaurant is on the main road about 500 metres before the big Migros (coming from Calis). It's just after the traffic lights that has the sign for Esnaf hospital.
We have eaten there twice in the last week, wanted to make sure before posting a review. It's not somewhere you would automatically choose to eat as it's not very big and on the main road. Very traditional, on both visits we have only ordered a main course and salad, however they bring you a selection of mezes, which include 2 small puffy bread, yoghurt dip, chilli dip, cheese, garlic butter and mini lamucham, which is delicious.
We have had 4 different main meals all of which were delicious, recommend the mixed kebab which although a bit more expensive is well worth the money. Beer is 10 lira for a large Efes malt, tuborg.

KKOB and I remember going out and getting legless on 10TL, and still having change for the dolmus home.

Agree that the beer isn't cheap but it's somewhere else to try for nice food and it's not all about the beer.

This place was given a glowing report in Turkey's for Life.  Must try to give it a try.   :)

Its Saturday night and 21:56 I could murder a kebab. However this is Chapel-en-le-Frith, so I guess its bed time and fingers crossed for tomorrow.

The League table never lies - whoever finishes top tomorrow will have deserved it.

Let's hope that there are no controversial decisions which effect the outcome.

I want Liverpool to prevail tiggsy but all the very best to our team.
