The Turkish place on Dolphin roundabout opposite Meri bar.
It was our first time in Calis on a vewing trip with Turkish connections They paid our flights and put us up at Club E. It was mid feb and we were the only ones staying. The meal was ok it was poring with rain we got drenched walking there and dried off with the big fire they had in the middle.Everwhere else was shut.
We returnned in October again staying at seril 2 This time we paid. we had a hectic week as I had arranged viewings with lots of agents. Found our ideal place on the fourth day. Dont know where we ate all week but night before we returned we ate atRoca. We had spent the day sitting in the villa in a daze and went there before returning to hotel for transfer. It was the nearest to the  villa It was very nice and special because of the event of the day. have been several times over last 2 years. it was still closed when over in April . Have a feeling it will not be the same as the chef has moved to his own new place.

Without a doubt Obens

I'd bet that is the answer to a different question to this one.

Yes, most people have meals.

As do I, as my waistline can testify to.  But seriously, I've never eaten in Calis...  not even a quick pide or durum.

In fact... I've only been to Calis three times and two of those visits were on business.  What the phuck am I doing here?

It was a long time ago, but it was probably the Orient or Orient Express as it was then, they used to have a spit roast at the front of the restaurant, as did the Nil bar.
