That's the one Akdeniz, is it still in business! Last year thought he mentioned he was closing...

Hi, it's not Akdeniz any more, it's the Corner restaurant now.
Have been a few times and it's great value and really good food.

Thanks kayakebab, what type of food do they do as we are staying quite close by and are looking for restaurants as good as the Ak Deniz

They do a mix really, Turkish & European. I've only ever tried their 10 tl menu, been with friends and between us we've tried the liver, moussaka, stuffed chicken, giant meatball with egg and all have been fab.
Drinks are very reasonable and I think there's a snack and evening menu in addition to the 10tl deal.

Never had a bad meal there & really enjoyed the mixed grill with a fantastic piece of steak,  can also recommend the Chinese shanghai blues just down the road from corner bar.

Can't wait for Thursday to be there again
