We have not ventured in this time as the queues are so big.  Last time after waiting for about 25 minutes, getting to a counter and then a Turkish guy walked straight in and stood next to us and started speaking over us
I really thought Phil was going to blow his top as he was so angry.

When you live there Jacqui you get to know that that is normal behavior in the banks.. Also the tellers asking how there families etc. Are.... You need a lot of patience is all I can say... See u at the coffee morning?

We have been with the HSBC since we moved to Cyprus and when we moved to Turkey we transferred to the Mahmular branch . Last year our sadly our WONDERFUL Manger moved to the Fethiye branch and was surly missed by us all . Always best to go and ask any of the banks what they can do for you and go from there . Whatever you decide Good Luck
We looked into the Seker Bank today and it looked like the old ING Bank inside.   Also, looked into the H.S.B.C. and that looked good too.  Any thoughts about these two Banks please? :-\

Having just been sat in HSBC for an hour (seem to have now skipped my number, I'm going to have a beer and try again.
However HSBC now have an app that is useable in the UK and works a treat so hopefully no more visiting the bank.

We've banked with TEB for around 6 years, no problems, fairly easy website and reasonably competitive interest rates on savings account. Also Şeker, who always seem to be a little better for interest rates than some others.

Have decided Turkish in branch banking is a nightmare.
It's like queueing at the butchers department in a supermarket.
You get your ticket number and wait, wait some more, totally different numbers get called then the one above yours gets called and so on.
As I speak very little Turkish I can't ask where my number has disappeared to, just go back to the machine and try again.
I think I created chaos as I then got 2 different numbers, one for normal transactions and one for investing.
Both then came at the same time.
Priceless!
Back for round 2 today, yippee!

Yep Keng38 you're right. If you HAVE to visit the branch and you have a debit card, swipe it in the machine to get a quicker service, the girl at ING told us to put our account number in the machine for the same thing. Personally I do all my banking online and rarely visit the bank.

I've just broken my internet banking.
Tomorrow I'm taking sandwiches and a flask
