A good deal, and some unfortunate opinions...
« on: February 24, 2016, 10:57:37 AM »
UK Hot Deals are listing a week in Selcuk, all inclusive with Easyjet flights from Gatwick - works out at £391 for a family of three.  Cracking price if thats your thing.

Family holiday for family of 3 to Turkey 5* all inclusive £381 total

What is sad about this deal is the comments, read for yourself and it'll be apparent why this (and probably next) is going to be a rough season for Turkey.

I have noticed that packages seem to be cheaper than flight only, worth checking first before booking a flight !!

Heard a few folks say that, but haven't really paid much attention to package prices for years, much prefer flying scheduled (Easyjet or THY).

Incidentally, the above deal isn't a package - flights and hotel are booked separately.

Some of the comments really make me mad
“Wouldn’t go if they pay me. I will rather pay more and enjoy holidays not thinking if I am in danger”
Now this type of comment to me is ignorance at its best
Now where would they rather go for a safer holiday?
Spain the possibility of Bask separatist’s blowing you up
France the possibility of Muslim fundamentalist’s shooting you
Most of Southeast Asia well take your pick there
USA if it’s not terrorism, mass shootings or just a common a garden murder mugging
“I know Australia”, no sorry Muslim fundamentalists there to
It looks like I will have to sit in my back garden with my knotted hanky on my bald head drinking Stella shouldn’t really knock that as I have done that on many occasion
Well you know what I mean  :D

No matter how hard our security services try, it's inevitable that there's going to be a big 'un in the UK soon.

But, if there is, life will mostly go-on, the same as it did when the IRA were ****in' around.
