Foreign media disrespecting The Tall One again. Surely they don't think he and his family could possibly be corrupt?

Perish the thought.    If legal proceedings have been initiated surely Interpol could curtail his travel plans.??

Or are they too in the shoe box collectors club .??

The only thing that surprises me about this story, is how long it took the Italians to cotton on to the fact that he'd brought a massive amount of cash into the country under "diplomatic cover".  Even if Fuat Avni's figure had been exaggerated (and he's proved pretty accurate over the years), it's still an awful lot of spendies to take for a wee Italian break.

I'm not sure Turkey allows for what we would call "by elections", but get the feeling that if they did, Erdogan jnr would find himself as an AKP deputy to avoid any form of domestic prosecution.

Let's face it - if they prosecuted him in Italy he would probably get off after numerous adjournments and lots of backhanders.

The good news is he's been arrested in an EU country.

The bad news is, it's Italy :o
