Seker bank is always better than the money exchange Don, and you don't have to have a account.
just show your passport.

Thanks for advice - where abouts is the Seker bank? And do I just take sterling in and exchange for lira with my passport?

Seker Bank is on Carsi Caddesi which is the one way system out of the centre of Fethiye. Its on the right hand side of the road just as the road curves and is diagonally opposite the HSBC bank.
Just take in your sterling and passport.

I saw your sign today saying 4.05 but if I'd come in you would have given me 4.12, I think not. If I'd posted as highlander did then you might

It is against the law in Turkey to change money anywhere else but a Bank an Official Change Shop or the P.O.
We always get a little more when we change at the Offiical Change Shop, just ask.
