Recommendations Apartments

We have stayed in the Oykun apartments. They suited us fine and it's a lovely if no frills hotel.

It's a one bedroom plus two sofa beds in the main room set up rather than two bedrooms.

The best bit is you get the benefit of the apartment but also all the facilities of the hotel including. breakfast.

Biggest drawback for us is that they are all on the top floor and the stairs are hard work in the heat!!

We have stayed at the Oykun (hotel bit) lots of times and loved it. We heard about the apartments but being on the top floor put us off, couldn't really manage that every day now.  We also heard though that they don't have balconies, is that right Scunner?

They do don't they! Not sure where I got that from now. Looks like a good choice then if you don't mind the stairs.

It's 4th floor but the stairs seem to go on forever. On the positive side it's the only holiday I remember where I lost weight :D

You may be thinking of the Mutlu Marina - their top floor is all window only no balcony. Or maybe Golden Moon?

The apartments in the original block (the one that overlooks the bar) don't have balconies.

There are also lot's of apartments to rent on Sunset Beach Club (different to Sunset Apartments) if you don't mind being a bit further out near the Surf Cafe.

(They all have balconies).

No it was definitely the Oykun I was thinking about Scunner, until you confused me! (Doesn't take much these days)   ;) But then seeing madmarts post maybe I wasn't mistaken after all  ;D

The Oykun also have apartments in the older block again top floor and these are the apartments with no balconies.  Not sure if they are still utilised, as it was a while back now when we stayed in each apartment.
