Coldkeys Intro
« on: March 29, 2006, 13:26:29 PM »
Hi everyone, I've finally got around to introducing myself! My name is John, nickname coldkeys, and I live in Ipswich, Suffolk. My partner and I bought an apartment in Turgutreis in June 2004. We're going over on 1st May for a week, then 12th June for 2 weeks. We were going in April but had our flight cancelled like many people. I was lucky enough to get a cheaper flight with Airtours. Thomas Cook Airlines have changed flight times several times, and the June one was an airport change too, from Stansted to Gatwick. I couldn't find a replacement flight for the June one.
We will be moving to Turgutreis in October - taking early retirement.
Look forward to an active presence here.

Hi and a warm welcome to the Forum. Settling in Turkey as our home was the best move we have ever made. :)

Hi John, welcome to the forum and best wishes on your forthcoming retirement to Turkey. We have so far been lucky enough to not have had the trouble of flights being changed, apart from the odd delay of an hour or so. Hope you have a really good time.
