Can anyone recommend a good shoe shop in Fethiye where you wont get ripped off, of course depending on the type of shoes you buy?

I was looking at a pair of white Turkish slip ons, don't think they were designer and he said 45 tlr! Ok that might be around £20 ish but I thought Turkey was supposed to be cheap for clothes and shoes! :)

Linda - isn't £20 for a pair of shoes cheap?  Cost a lot more than that here in uk

hi linda
the little shop on the left in calis before you get to the beach from the calis  water taxis.
do not know if they are the same sandle but the misses and daughter bought a couple  there last year £5 for the 2,granted the do not last but then again if you want quality you do sometimes have to pay.

I bought some 'converse' type shoes for my daughter at Easter from a little shoe shop behind the mosque in Fethiye.  It's no the one nearest to the dolmus stop but one nearer to the town.  they had load to choose from and were cheaper for the same shoes then the one mentioned.

The Fethiye market is a good bet. Depends what sort you are after. Ive bought stacks of summery shoes there. Last summer were 4 pair for £10. Tend to buy wintery shoes in the UK - but they do have winter shoes there too - and are cheaper than UK.
